Types of Wedding Gift Baskets

The first inclination of many people is that wedding gift baskets are for the bride and groom alone. However, this is not actually the case. There are many types of wedding gift baskets, for the couple getting married, the people involved in the wedding, and other types of wedding gift baskets as well.

The most common type of wedding gift baskets to be given to the bride and groom are those filled with household goods. However, the truth is that many couples getting married today already have these items. Either the couple has started a household before the wedding, or each person in the marriage is bringing a wealth of household goods with them from their individual homes. It is becoming more and more common for the bride and groom to give wedding gift baskets to those who participated in the wedding. This includes bridesmaids, maid of honor, best man, groomsmen, flower girls, and ring bearers.

There are tons of different wedding gift baskets to choose from for these purposes. Bridesmaids and the maid of honor might enjoy wedding gift baskets filled with bath soaps, lotions, and other spa quality relaxation items. There are also wedding gift baskets that include chocolates or gourmet baked goods.

Children require another type of wedding gift baskets. These wedding gift baskets need to be filled with toys and activities that will give the flower girl or ring bearer hours of joy and fun. However, it should also be somewhat personal to the wedding. For example, wedding gift baskets for the flower girl might contain a bridal doll, while the wedding gift baskets for the ring bearer might include matchbox cars painted with “just married” on the side.
